Carlson – Let the Children ComeThis stained glass window was made for Holy Trinity Lutheran church in Des Moines. The church was rebuilding and I utilized the glass from the previous church to create this window. The window is 4 1/2 feet by 6 feet. It is put together with lead and zinc and has over 200 pieces.
Carlson – THe Watkins Man is ComingI made this stained glass window for my father, who sold Watkins Products for 30 years. He had it hanging in his office window for years. The upper half’s lettering is sandblasted on what is called glue chip. The reins and wheel spokes were created with wire.
Carlson – The Iris VaseThe irises on this vase were sandblasted in two steps. The bottom half is mosaic with glass pieces.
