Due to weather conditions, Tacoma Public Library's schedule will be as follows:
Friday, Dec. 31
- Fern Hill, Kobetich, Main, and Mottet Libraries will be CLOSED
- Moore, South Tacoma, Swasey, and Wheelock will be OPEN from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Phones will be in operation from noon to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 1: All library locations closed for the New Year's Day holiday
Holds will be extended through the closure. Online resource, opens a new windows, opens a new window and eBooks, opens a new window are available 24 hours a day.
Book drops will remain open to use at all locations.
Please note parking lots at our library locations are not plowed. Please also use caution on walkways.
We encourage our patrons to use their best judgement in traveling.
