Tacoma Public Library is partnering with Tacoma Rescue Mission

Tacoma Rescue Mission has served Tacoma since 1912. What started as a soup kitchen on Pacific Ave now serves over 250,000 meals a year. TRM provides shelter, job readiness, education, addiction recovery, mental health, youth services, Veteran services, and more.

Tacoma Public Library now partners with TRM to support their goal of serving the homeless and hurting in Tacoma. TPL collects items for TRM year-round with monthly emphasis on needed supplies. Each branch has a donation bin with a collection theme for the month. Bring your new donations to any library during regular service hours. These donations directly help people in Tacoma. The need is year-round, and now so are our donation bins! Below are items always needed.
