Discovering Winter Animals

Saturday, January 5th families explored winter animals during a special sensory program at Wheelock Branch. Kids and parents pretended to be penguins waddling with their eggs, tried a science experiment about animal insulation, created pine cone bird feeders, made animal tracks and more. Children's Librarian Miss Elizabeth understands the benefits of learning through play and these special Play, Grow & Discover programs are scheduled for the 1st Saturday of every month at Wheelock at 10:30 am.
