I hope you joined us for the Summer Reading Challenge this summer, which concludes on Saturday, Aug. 12. Make sure to visit any library to turn in your bingo cards (or show a staff member your completion on the Beanstack app) to claim your prizes and enter the grand prize raffle for your age group!
As Tacoma Public Library looks ahead to September, our focus is on preparing to close Main Library temporarily as we complete facility upgrades. Main Library, our largest library and our flagship downtown location, will close to the public on Friday, Sept. 1, and we look forward to reopening in spring of 2024 with an array of exciting updates and new features.
Please visit any of our seven other libraries for full services while Main Library is closed. As always, we have friendly and knowledgeable staff, a vast collection, and programs and resources for all ages to welcome you.
