Tax help at Tacoma Public Library  

You can pick up IRS Form 1040 and instruction booklets at any Tacoma Public Library location. Other tax forms are available for printing on-demand. Your library card gives you $5 in free prints per week. The IRS started accepting tax returns on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and remote tax assistance free of charge to anyone, with a special focus on taxpayers who are 50 or older or who have low to moderate income. They are providing appointment-based assistance at six locations in Pierce County this year. Call the listed phone number for details.
