There comes a time during family road trips when parents are tired of quarrelsome children, syrupy children’s music and tedious children’s movies. Children’s audiobooks can provide some relief. They can serve as an introduction for family discussions, can model fluent reading to your child, and introduce you and your child to new authors and storytelling styles. Plus, who does not love having a story read to them.
