At Tacoma Public Library, we strive to be a comfortable and welcoming place for all. In an effort to support all our patrons, we now have a Sensory Accessibility Kit at each branch. The items in the kit are meant to help our patrons of all abilities have a great experience while visiting the library.
If you would like to use any of these items while in the library, please visit the circulation desk. You can borrow as many items as you like during your visit.
We ask that you leave your library card (or name and phone number if you don’t have a library card) with staff while you use the items. Please make sure to return the items you use at the end of your visit so that other patrons can borrow them.
