Library Card Application
Signing up for a card online allows Tacoma residents and people in our reciprocal service areas immediate access to:
- place up to 25 holds and check out up to 100 physical items
- borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks
- download or stream movies, TV shows, magazines, and more
Our Paid cards and Community cards require visiting one of our eight branches to sign up.

"I agree to be responsible for all usage of this Card and that all information I have given on this application is true, complete and accurate. I will notify the library immediately if I suspect my Card is being used without my permission."
