Library eCard Application

eCards allow immediate access to:

• online databases
• place up to three holds and check out up to three physical items
• borrow eBooks and audiobooks
• download or stream movies, TV shows, magazines and more

You must obtain a physical library card to:

• check out more than three physical items
• use public computers and printers
• submit an Interlibrary Loan request or suggest purchases

An eCard is good for 6 months. To convert your eCard to a physical library card, visit a Tacoma Library branch in person with photo ID (if your photo ID does not have your current residential address, please bring any official document or piece of mail with your name and current residential address).
