Tacoma Rocks!

Tacoma rocks and so does Tacoma Public Library! Just like Western Washington groups in Port Orchard, Bremerton, and Port Angeles, Tacoma has joined in the community rock movement. Artists of all skill levels collect, paint, and hide special rocks throughout their community. Do you enjoy a good treasure hunt? With the proper tracking skills and some good fortune, you may stumble upon one of these rocks, like the one found at the Kobetich Branch. If you do, you may choose to either keep your prize or choose to hide it elsewhere for another lucky person to discover. In addition, you are invited to post a photo of the rock on the Tacoma Rocks! Facebook page.

Can’t get enough? Get on the bandwagon and check out these books Tacoma Public Library has on painting rocks. Happy Hunting!
