Sometimes a bag is just a bag, so come have some fun January 23rd with Tacoma Public Library and the Sustainable Tacoma Commission, opens a new window as we try to make a World Record for turning t-shirts into bags. Visit any of the following branches (Fern Hill, Main, Mottet, South Tacoma, Swasey, Wheelock) between 11 AM and 3 PM and upcycle a t-shirt into a shopping bag. The Sustainable Tacoma Commission will supply the t-shirts and the know-how. You bring your enthusiasm and some sharp scissors!
