There was a list of items most missed from the old world that will never be seen in the new post-electric world in Station Eleven. Many of the missed items are based on the technology of electricity and fossil fuel. Two things that are impossible with what is left in the current world. The following are a few of the items from that list.
- Night ball games lighted by floods.
- Diving into a lighted pool.
- No films.
- No flight.
