Free COVID-19 test kits will no longer be available at Tacoma Public Library

As of March 15, 2024, Tacoma Public Library will no longer distribute COVID-19 test kits.

Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department and Tacoma Public Library have partnered to distribute free COVID-19 tests for the past three years. The Health Department has provided the kits and TPL used its eight neighborhood locations as distribution hubs. In total, this partnership gave out close to 100,000 test kits, improving public health and safety through the pandemic.

Please pick them up a library near you (except for Main Library, which is currently closed for construction) as supplies last.

UPDATE: Moore, Swasey, South Tacoma, and Wheelock Libraries are out of tests.
